Join Habitat for Humanity-Spokane to Build Affordable Homes!

Habitat for Humanity-Spokane is welcoming volunteers to our build sites in Spokane Valley, WA!

As a volunteer, you'll help construct homes using sustainable and responsible building practices. Tasks may include framing, drywall, insulation, siding, flooring, painting, and more. No prior experience is required, everyone is welcome to participate!

This project focuses on building energy-efficient homes for families in need of safe and affordable housing. Every home we build is sold to a qualified low-income family through Habitat’s Homeownership Program.

What to Expect:

• Please wear work-appropriate clothing (shorts are okay) and closed-toed shoes are required. Dress for the weather and bring a refillable water bottle.
• Each shift begins with a Habitat introduction, safety orientation, and work assignment overview.
• Volunteers will work under the guidance of a Habitat Construction Supervisor.
• Afternoon shifts run from 12:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Tools & Safety:

• Habitat provides all tools, safety glasses, and hard hats.
• You may bring your own hand tools, masks, gloves, and safety gear, but please do not bring power tools.

Age Requirement:

• Volunteers must be 16 or older.
• Those under 18 must have parental consent.
