This course is intended for anyone who is involved in building projects – new construction and redevelopment projects. This includes Architects, Specifiers, Design Professionals, Building Envelope Consultants, Energy Efficiency Consultants, Owners, Contractors, and anyone who wants to meet specific standards such as LEED, Passive House, Net Zero, ENERGY STAR, National Green Building Standard, etc. 

Building envelope air sealing plays a critical role in making buildings better – to not only improve the sustainability and energy efficiency of a building, but also the health, safety, and welfare of building occupants. Building Envelope Air Sealing: A Critical Path to Better Buildings is a course that introduces building design and construction professionals to building envelope air sealing, why it’s important and a growing trend, and many details including how it’s done, benefits and challenges, testing and verification, and its application to both the exterior envelope and compartmentalization.
