The breakfast event will feature a panel discussion with leaders from the following workforce development programs: CORE PLUS Construction, Frame Your Future, Trade Up 2 Construction, and CTE Director Doug Edmonson. 

The keynote speakers, Ben Small and Chris Patterson, will speak on the importance of building a skilled workforce, lessons they’ve learned in the construction industry, and what they are doing today to address housing challenges. Small is the executive director of LaunchNW, an organization that aims to support communities in Eastern Washington and North Idaho through scholarships and comprehensive support for high school students. Patterson is a former U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development regional administrator and currently works as a community solutions advisor for Washington Trust Bank.
