Instructions

PURPOSE - The SHBA Remodelers Council was formed in 1990 to promote and encourage better practices in remodeling through education, information, community service, and by providing member remodelers with a Contractor Referral Service.

MEMBERSHIP REQUIREMENTS - Membership in the Remodelers Council of Spokane is open to all members of the Spokane Home Builders Association. Annual dues are $70.00, which includes membership in the NAHB Remodelers Council.

AWARDS - Awards for Remodeling Projects include BIAW Excellence in Remodeling Program and National Awards. Awards for Remodelers include Spokane Remodeler of the Year, Washington State Remodeler of the Year, and National Remodeler of the Month and Year.

TO JOIN – Complete the following and return to the SHBA. The Council approves all applications at their monthly meeting:

I hereby request membership in the Remodelers Council of the Spokane Home Builders Association. If approved, I agree to abide by the Constitution, Bylaws and Code of Ethics (and all amendments thereof) of the National Association of Home Builders, the Building Industry Association of Washington, the Spokane Home Builders Association, and the Remodelers™ Council of the SHBA. In the event of termination of membership in any of the above named associations, I agree to immediately discontinue the use of Remodelers insignia in any form.
